Standing in secluded gardens in the peaceful and attractive village of Stainton we are only 3 miles from Ullswater less than a mile from Junction 40 of the M6 and only a couple of minutes from the A66 which links the beautiful Northern Lakes of Ullswater Derwentwater Buttermere Crummock Water Bassenthwaite and others.A warm welcome awaits you in the oak beamed bar and dining room. In the main bar area an extensive menu is available all year round offering hot fare or sandwiches and other snacks. The Restaurant offers friendly service freshly prepared foods from an extensive menu mostly featuring local produce and a good selection of wines. The 7 bedrooms are all en-suite with shower and equipped with colour television radio teacoffee making facilities and direct dial telephone. There is a large secure car park at the rear of the hotel.We can provide full facilities and catering for all functions special events and parties from weddings to conferences and private meeting rooms are available. The hotel is family owned and managed by Richard and Niki Langley who will take every care to make your stay a memorable one.

Directions to The Brantwood Hotel
From the M6 Junction 40 take the A66 towards Keswick. At the first roundabout (Rheged Roundabout) take the A592 to Ullswater. About a 100 yards turn right towards the village of Stainton. After about 12 a mile at the crossroads turn left in to the centre of the village. The Brantwood Hotel is on the left handside past the brow of the hill as you pass the village hall. The car park is at the rear of the building. Drive through the archway to enter the car park.
